This includes generating essays, summaries, conclusions, or other parts of an assignment. Your work should reflect your own thoughts and knowledge. AI tools can assist you in the learning process, such as providing examples, helping with brainstorming ideas or searching for sources, but they should not do the bulk of the work for you.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>FOLLOW INSTRUCTOR-SPECIFIC GUIDELINES<\/strong>: Individual instructors may have specific rules about using AI tools in their courses. These rules will be outlined in the syllabus. It is your responsibility to read and follow them. It is essential to fact-check any content generated by AI.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>OVERRELIANCE ON AI TOOLS:<\/strong> As stated before, AI tools can aid you in areas like brainstorming; however, it is essential to note that relying too heavily on AI tools can limit your personal growth, your own creativity, critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. And these are precisely the areas in which a college education should provide a boost for your future career and life.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>DATA PRIVACY:<\/strong> Be cautious when inputting sensitive or personal information into AI tools (for example, data related to research subjects, interviews, etc.).
